I'm not sure why 24.04 would be worse; is there a reason why you're using the amd64 builds, rather than the native arm64 builds? |

Good point. There'd be a big kernel change between the two LTS releases, surely? Possibly compilation changes? |

I've two Ubuntu x86_64 on my MacBook Pro M1
Both of them was installed from default desktop iso. Settings are identical.
There haven't been any major changes in Ubuntu, what could be slowing it down?
