Move the mouse on ConEmu window, it starts change to insert mode itself on vim, insert random characters to file.

Used shell version (Far Manager, git-bash, cmd, powershell, cygwin, whatever): cygwin 3.5.5, vim gvim_9.1.0 x64, ConEmu 230724

Problem description

ConEmu "send mouse events to console" is ON, it caused vim random character input on mouse move, click and scroll. If I used cygwin + vim, no issue.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open ConEmu.
2. Open "New console dialog..."
3. Select {Bash::CygWin bash}
4. Run vim test.py
5. Move the mouse on ConEmu window, it starts change to insert mode itself on vim, insert random characters to test.py file.

Actual results

Expected results

I can use mouse to mark and copy, paste text like vim. If I used cygwin + vim without ConEmu, no issue.

I have the same issue since I switched to Windows 11.

I can select with my mouse until I run a script, and as soon as the script starts (for example, with a "yarn" or "npm" command), I can no longer select anything, and mouse events cause special characters to appear in the console.

I use Git Bash.
