Make the search box more obvious

From our issue reporting form:

"I never knew there was a search box until Casey Watts just came up to my circulation desk and pointed it out after I asked him if there was an easier way to find something in the catalog than scrolling down.

I think a simple magnifying glass icon would make the search box more identifiable/conspicuous (like the one near the user search box).

Does reservations already have support for svg? I found an svg magnifying glass which is 256 bytes in size while it's png is a couple kb. It's not a big difference but if there is already svg support I'll throw it in as svg.

We already have an entire suite of vector icons via font-awesome - we should always and only use icons from this set unless we have a burning need for icons it's missing.

We could definitely add a magnifying glass icon from FontAwesome to make the search box easier to find.

We'll see if we can squeeze this into v3.4.3, as per ITG's request (and since this issue has been open for almost two years).
