Category max == NIL => cannot add eq_model to cart

This is currently an issue on the STC instance. Even though the equipment model has a defined limit of 1, if the category limit is nil/undefined, then when trying to add an item to the cart, the js will spinnnnnn and never end. :(

We should check the validations code.

@dgoerger are you referring to the checkout length? I tried reproducing with # allowed-per-user but couldn't (though I could with an undefined checkout length for categories, which is now PR'd for v3.4)
