Non-escaped characters compromising catalog feed import

The Magento plugin is not escaping special characters “%”, "[" and "]" in the ProductPageURL and ImageURL elements of the catalog feed.
This compromises the processing of the feed.
I did a test to remove “%”, "[" and "]": the processing was this time successful.

Would it be possible to bring a fix for this particular use case?
