Daikin AC: Unable to set Demand Control #139090

Open
@guschc

Description

The problem

Daikin AC Units that are controlled via the Onecta App can be very closely controlled regarding their energy consumption by using "Demand Control" in the app. It is possible to control this in 5% steps from 40% to 100%. The HA integration only allows setting ECO on or off, which is not closely the same.
The "estimated power consumption" value that the integration provides does not show the real power consumption either, only 0.1 kW when turned on and 0 kW when turned off.
