Fixes linebender#894 Reasons to remove: - It doesn't support current versions of KDE - We don't have C code expertise - It isn't checked in CI I've also used a Linebender style CHANGELOG entry

I've also used a Linebender style CHANGELOG entry here (i.e. with the PR number and author), as I'm fairly sure that's the style we'll want to use in future.
