fix: proving bug fixes

this PR does the following:

1. removes dead code (updater.rs and websockets.rs)
2. simplifies the CLI commands (e.g. start and logout) with proper subcommands
3. simplify structure of main.rs to be easier to read/navigate/extend
4. set up better flow for proving locally
