This looks to be inherited from some dependency and not ipwb code itself. Let's identify the chain to the source of the issue and remedy it in the ipwb main branch.

The flatted package is installed from the npm JavaScript linter. JS artifacts from the linter ought to be cleared before the Python linter proceeds.
