Syntax Highlighting Incorrectly/Badly

If you open a larger file, the syntax highlighting doesn't seem to apply until you go back to the top of the file and then go back to where you were.
This doesn't happen when only using the syntax file from this library.
Would love to know what is doing it, as I want to be able to just use Vundle rather than having to hand-pick parts from this package.

I removed this bundle from my vim configuration because it was causing too many problems. PHP is a crappy language :( and the maintainer of this bundle is not paying much attention to the PHP related configs. Which I understand, I am in the process of switching to JS and Golang :)

I was able to fix the syntax highlighting issues by using this bundle instead:
